Lifestyle Maintenance Formula: figuring out how much your spouse should pay you in spousal support or maintenance:
1. add the net incomes of the couple;
2. deduct an amount for the support of the children;
3. devide the balance in two;
4. from the amount to which the receipeint of maintenance is entitled- deduct that person’s net income.
The shortfall is the balance between standard of living and income.
May 13, 2012 at 9:41 PM This is an unusual decisions and that’s probably why it made the headlines. To be in contempt, you have to violate an Order of the Court. You can’t be in contempt of a breach of a contract or parenting agreement. You may breach a contract, and the court will decide on an appropriate remedy for the breach, which is never jail time. This is where “never say never” applies to this case.

If you have 3 or more parking tickets your vehicle may be booted by the city. The city is also allowed to boot your car after 2 or more unpaid parking tickets if they are unpaid for more than a year. If you have 10 or more parking tickets, the city may notify the secretary of state to suspend your driver’s license.
Tip: You should try to fall below 3 outstanding tickets to avoid boot and below 10 tickets to avoid driver’s license suspension.

But there I was in front of Judge Easterbrook. Three-judge panel picked-up on the anomaly in the tax code (nothing new about that). When you receive a tax bill, you should pay it because it never coincides with the year's final payment which we are appealing. For example, the due date for the Tax Year 2011 First Installment was Thursday, March 1, 2012.
